Radico Khaitan is planning to expand its Rampur Distillery. The project involves expansion of Distillery capacity from 600 Lakh Litre/year to 750 Lakh Litre/year to produce Rectified Spirit at Village Panwaria in Rampur district of UP. Bio Ethanol India has reported progress on its distillery project coming up in AP. The project involves setting up a distillery unity with a capacity of 60 klpd at Annadevarapeta of West Godavari District of AP. The project is estimated to cost Rs.500 million. As of September 2007, the project is awaiting environmental clearance.
