Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) currently has about 1,000 MW of installed capacity in the country.

The steel major has projected that its current projects under implementation are expected to multiply this number by more than a factor of 11 and take the cumulative capacity to 11,480 MW by FY 2019-20.

The projects currently under implementation, along with the investment made by the company till December 31, 2011, are as follows:
83 MTPA Steel Plant Patratu at Jharkand (US$ 0.3 billion),
81.6 MTPA (810 MW) steel captive power plant at Angul, Orissa (US$ 2 billion),
880,000 BPD coal to liquid at Orissa (US$ 0.02 billion),
81,980 MW thermal power at Jharkhand (US$ 0.01 billion),
82,400 MW thermal power at Chhattisgarh (US$ 0.51 billion) and
86,100 MW hydro power plant at Arunachal Pradesh (US$ 0.12 billion).
