Brief Description of the project The basic objective of the project is to reduce energy consumption per tonne of clinker production through implementation of energy efficient technologies at BCL Satna. The main thrust areas were identified as use of flow control, use of more efficient equipment and technology upgradation. All these improved technology measures had helped in reducing the direct demand of electricity and indirect demand of fossil fuel (coal).
