Brief Description of the Project The project activity is thermal power generation. The technology incorporated is well established and proven. It is indigenously available and does not require any imported plant and machinery. The steam is generated in high pressure boilers giving steam at 45Kg per square centimeter and 67 Kg per square centimeter. The steam is double extracted and condensed in impulse double extraction cum condensing type turbines run AC generator of 12,500 KVA capacities with 0.8 power factors. With 95% capacity utilization, the exceeded power generation during 150 days season available for grid supply will be 59.297 million Kwh per year.
