Name of Project Green House Gas (GHG) Reduction by implementing Energy Efficient plough share mixture (PSM) technology in Soap Manufacturing
Location of the Project (Village / District / State) Buldhana, Maharashtra, Kundiam, Goa, Gandhidham, Gujarat, Kolkata, West Bengal
Brief Description of the project Proposed project replaces existing BLS – Mazzoni spray process with Plough Share Mixture (PSM) technology in Soap Manufacturing process. In PSM technology steam consumption will be low compared to BLS Mazzoni process & manufacturing soap noodles by using PSM technology the steam generation from fossil fuels such as high speed diesel (HSD) or coal has been reduced & therefore the GHG emissions have been reduced. The technology is developed by HLL & patented under the Indian patents specification
Estimate of GHG abatement in tCO2 eq. 91,857
Host Country Approval Status Approved.
