JCT Group, a leading textiles manufacturer is planning to diversify into wind mill energy generators. The company has signed 50:50 Joint venture agreement with US based Dakshidin Corp, which specializes in low-wind speed windmills. The new venture is exploring the possibilities of setting up its own manufacturing facility in India. As of December 2007, the exact financial and technical feasibility for the manufacturing set-up and the equity structure are being finalizes and will be ready in the next two months.
