Bombay Rayon Fashions, a leading garments and fabric manufacturer is planning to set up new garment and fabric units in Maharashtra. The project involves setting up manufactuirng facilities Tarapur, Islampur, Ichalkaranji, Latur, Nanded, and Osmanabadand. On completion, the company’s fabric processing capacity will be increased to 5 lakh metre per day and garment capacity by 1 lakh garments per day. The project is estimated to cost Rs.11,000 million. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2008. As of November 2007, the company has signed an MoU with state government of Maharashtra.
