Radico Khaitan is planning to expand its Rampur Distillery. The project involves expansion of Distillery capacity from 600 Lakh Litre/year to 750 Lakh Litre/year to produce Rectified Spirit at Village Panwaria in Rampur district of UP. Power requirement of 2000 KWh will be met from the steam turbine attached with 26 TPH biogas fired boiler. The project is estimated to cost Rs.150 million. As of November 2007, the project has obtained clearance from ministry of environment and forests.
