Siemens is planning to set up a new manufacturing facility for compact fluorescent lamps

Osram India a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens is planning to set up a new manufacturing facility for compact fluorescent lamps and other energy saving lamps. The new plant is expected to be located at at Sonepat in Haryana and is likely to entail an investment of Rs.800-1000 million. The plant will become operational in 2008.
