Jindal Shipyards is planning to set up India’s first maritime technology park

Jindal Shipyards is planning to set up India’s first maritime technology park near Dahej in Gujarat. The park to be called ‘India Maritime Technology Park’ will spread over 700 hectares of land will entail an investment of USD 1 billion The project will also house a maritime technology institute. As of October 2007, the company is planning to rope in Korean Maritime Consultants for technical know-how. The project will be commissioned in 2010.
