Hindustan Sanitaryware & Industries is planning to set up a new manufacturing unit at Bhongir

AGI Glaspac, a unit of Hindustan Sanitaryware & Industries is planning to set up a new manufacturing unit at Bhongir near Hyderabad in AP. The project involves setting up a unit to manufacture glass bottles and jars with a total investment of Rs.2100 million. The proposed plant will have an installed capacity of 425 tpd. As of September 2007, the company has acquired about 72 acres of land for the project. The project is expected to go on stream in first quarter of 2009.
