Bulk Cement Corporation is planning to take up an expansion programme at its cement unit in Maharashtra.

Bulk Cement Corporation is planning to take up an expansion programme at its cement unit in Maharashtra. The project involves expansion of Portland Pozzolana Cement Plant (1.20 MTPA to 1.50 MTPA) at Kalamboli Panvel, Raigad, Navi Mumbai by blending, grinding and packing process of fly ash, gypsum and clinker. Increase in production capacity of Pozzolona Portland Cement (PPC) will be achieved by installation of fly ash processing with clinker (1.02 MTPA), gypsum (0.025 MTPA) and fly ash (0.45 MTPA). The project is estimated to cost Rs.700 million.
