Amareswari Cements is planning to take up limestone mining project. The company which operates a 100 TPD cement plant located in Nalgonda district of AP is planning to develop a captive limestone mine with a production capacity of 1.8 million TPA at Pedavedu village in Nalgonda district. The project is estimated to cost Rs.95 million. As of August 2007 the project has been approved by ministry of environment and forests.
