Valeo Electrical Systems , a manufacturer of auto electrical components is planning to set up a new manufacturing plant in joint venture with NK Minda group. A new joint venture company in the style of Valero Minda Electrical Systems Private Limited has been floated for this purpose. The project involves setting up a unit in Pune to manufacture starter motors and alternators with an investment of Rs.1,200 million. The project is scheduled to be commissioned in March 2008.
