Reliance SEZ Plans 2100 MW TPP
Reliance Haryana SEZ is setting up a a 2100 MW gas based power plant at Jhajjar, Haryana to cater to the power supply requirement of the RHSEZ. The land requirement for the project is estimated as 500 acres, which is reported to be being procured directly from land owners. Natural gas (10 mmscmd) will be sourced from KG basin and supplied by pipeline. As of July 2007, the project has been cleared by ministry of environment and forests.
