Cobra Beer Plans New Distillery in Punjab
Cobra Indian Beer is planning to set up a new distillery in Punjab with an investment of Rs.450-500 million. The proposed plant will have a capacity to produce 5 million cases/year initially and will be increased three fold later. The new unit will go onstream in mid 2008. In addition to this the company is also setting up a distillery with similar capacity in Hyderabad with completion targetted in end 2009.
