Shree Cements to expand capacity
Shree Cement belonging to Bangur Group is in the process of expanding its cement capacity. The project involves increasing the capacity of its Cement plant at Rajasthan from the present 6 million tpa to 9 million tpa. As of May 2007, the project is under implementation. The first phase with a capacity of 1.5 million tpa will go on stream by July 2007 while the remaining 1.5 mtpa is expected by July 2008.
