New Textile Projects Coming up in Punjab

Vardhman Polytex is setting up a Spinning & Dying Unit at Ludhiana & Bathinda. The project is estimated to cost Rs.1,670 million. The project is scheduled to be commissioned in October 2011.

Shiva Texfabs is planning to take up a an expansion its existing Spinning,Dyeing & Weaving division at Vill:Bhattian, Machhiwara, Tehsil, Samrala, Ludhiana. The project is expected to cost Rs.1,610 million. The project is scheduled to be commissioned in November 2011.

SEL Manufacturing Co. is planning to take up an Expansion in existing Cotton Yarn, Kitted and dye fabric and ready made garments. The project is estimated to cost Rs.3657.9 million. The project is scheduled to be commissioned in November 2011.

Sportking India is planning to set up a Spinning & Dying unit ((Bathinda /Mansa/Muktsar/Sangrur). The project is estimated to cost Rs.1,500 million. The project is scheduled to be commissioned in October 2011.

Bathinda Chemical is planning to set up a unit for cotton yarn in Bhatinda. The project is estimated to cost Rs.1,750 million. The project is scheduled to be commissioned in December 2011.
