Shakti Pumps plans new unit
Shakti Pumps is planning to set up a submersible pump manufacturing unit near its existing plant at Pithampur in MP. The proposed plant will entail an investment of Rs. 500 million and will have an installed capacity of 400,000 units/year. On completion, he unit’s total production capacity will be increased to 600,000 units year. The project is expected to be completed in 2008.
