Rajasthan Spinning to expand capacity
Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mills, belonging to LNJ Bhilwara Group is planning to take up a new project. The project involves setting up a new denim manufacturing facility with a capacity of 27 million metres/year and a 46 MW captive power plant at at Mordi in Banswara district of Rajasthan. The proposed plant will come up in two phases. The thermal power plant will cater to the power requirements of all eight units of the mill in the state. As of April 2007, the project is in the planning stage.
