Kanoria Chemicals to expand capacity
Kanoria Chemicals & Industries, a manufacturer of caustic soda is planning to take up an expansion programme at its Renukoot plant in UP. The project involves increasing the capacity of caustic soda from 90,000 tpa to 130,000 tpa with an investment of Rs.1540 million (approx). It may be noted that the company recently expanded the caustic soda capacity to 90,000 tpa. The project is to be funded through loan from IFC and from internal accruals.
