Nuziveed Seeds Plans SEZ in Chennai, TN

Nuziveedu Seeds is planning to develop an SEZ in TN in joint venture with TIDCO with an investment of Rs.15,000 million. The proposed SEZ will come up at Sholinganallur near Chennai in an area of 66 acres of land and will cater to the requirements of IT, IT Enabled Services and Biotech companies. A special purpose vehicle, ‘Zillion Estates Ltd’, has been floated to execute the project. The SEZ will have necessary infrastructure for water recycling and green power from wind mills. While Ernst & Young did the feasibility for the project, HOK Planning Group, US will undertake the design services. Assetz Property Services will provide assistance in construction and Marketing. As of April 2007, the company has signed an MoU with government of TN for implementing the project.
