Everest Plans Asbestos Cement Sheet Project
Everest Industries is planning to set up an Asbestos Cement Sheet project at Lakesari, Rurki, Haridawar, Uttranchal. The proposed plant will have a capacity to manufacture 1,80,000 MTPA of Asbestos Cement Corrugated (ACC) sheets, 72,000 MT MTPA of Fibre Cement Roofing Flat Sheets , 16,100 MTPA of Rapid Construction Panel Module Panels and 2,500 MTPA of Light Gauge Steel Frames . The project will come up in an area of 20.8 acres.
APCS will be installed to control fugitive and air emissions at cement, fly ash, and asbestos fibre handling area.
The project is estimated to cost Rs. 632.2 million.
