Raghuram Cements Plans new unit in AP

Raghuram Cements is planning to set up a new cement plant in AP. The project involves setting up a cement unit with a capacity of 2.25 million tpa and a clinker unit with a capacity of 1.485 million tpa at Nallalingayapalle, Kamalapuram in cudappah district of AP.

The proposed plant will use Pre-calciner technology for cement manufacturing. ESP to cooler, bag house to kiln and bag filters to raw mill/kiln, coal mill and cement mills will be provided to control air emissions. Bag filters and ventilation system will also be provided to control fugitive dust in material handling areas.

The project is estimated to cost Rs.5,700 million.
